Jeff Garcia

Jeff Garcia is a partner at the Balsera Communications group where he brings over ten years of experience successfully managing election campaigns for some of the top politicians across the country. Garcia began his professional career as a radio producer and reporter at 1290 KKAR in Omaha, NB and cut his teeth in politics working for the legendary Florida Congressman Dante Fascell.

In 1995, Garcia was hired as the Field and Communications Director for a congressional race in Omaha, Nebraska which marked his official entree into full-time political campaigning. Once bitten by the campaign bug, Garcia spent the next decade working on political campaigns in North Carolina, New Jersey and Florida.

In 1998, Garcia returned to Florida to help lead former State Attorney General Bob Butterworth's re-election campaign. Since then, Jeff has managed high profile U.S. Congressional and Senate races as well as statewide campaigns in Florida. Garcia's experience managing large campaigns, hiring hundreds of employees and managing multimillion-dollar budgets, has earned him the reputation as one of the most experienced political operatives in the state of Florida.

His political experience also extends to managing cause marketing campaigns such as the People for the American Way's "Mi Familia Vota" campaign, which signed up over 100,000 new Hispanic voters in 10 months. Garcia has also served as a consultant on several municipal, referendums and statewide campaigns on behalf of clients as diverse as the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) and the Human Rights Campaign.

Over the past several years, Garcia has also honed his skills in strategic communications and media production and placement through his work with Rindy Miller Media Productions. His expertise in both paid and earned media strategies continues to serve as a great resource to Balsera Communications clients.

Garcia is a native of Miami, FL and a proud alumnus of Belen Jesuit Prepatory School and Creighton University, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a Major in Marketing. Among his many accolades, Garcia was elected as the youngest Hispanic delegate during the 1996 Democratic National Convention.
